On August 15th, 2006 Thomson Metals and Disposal opened its new Technical Support and Maintenance Facility at 891 Zelco Drive, Burlington, Ontario. This new facility, strategically located between our main yard at 961 Zelco Drive and our Transport and Container Facility at 4440 South Service Road will support Thomson Metals and Disposal, Thomson Demolition and Thomson Waste Transfer. The Technical Support and Maintenance Facility will be under the direction of our Maintenance and Service Manager, Mr. Jim Vooys, who has been associated with the organization since 1985. This unit, staffed by qualified technicians and support personnel, will facilitate continuity of our high standards of service and safety record.

Continuing business development growth required the addition of the four acre Transportation Facility located at 4440 South Service Road in Burlington, ON. The property was developed to the highest standards to provide storage and staging areas for our extensive fleet of trucks, tractors, trailers and containers.

The development has greatly enhanced the flexibility and safety in the transportation services provided to our customers and is maintained with the highest regard for property and the environment.
